Step-by-Step Guide: DIY Blue Acrylic Nails at Home
Tools needed: Acrylic powder (blue), liquid monomer, brush, dappen dish, nail forms or tips, file, buffer, dehydrator, primer.
Step 1: Prep Natural Nails
Push back cuticles.
Buff the nail plate lightly.
Apply the dehydrator and primer.
Step 2: Apply Nail Forms or Tips
Attach forms under the free edge OR glue on plastic tips and file down to the desired length.
Step 3: Mix Acrylic
Pour blue acrylic powder into a dappen dish.
Dip the brush into the monomer, then into the powder to form a small bead.
Step 4: Apply Acrylic
Place the bead at the cuticle area and gently pat toward the tip.
Work quickly (acrylic dries in 30–60 seconds).
