Tips for healthier nails:

Keep your nails dry – You need to keep your gel nails dry as possible. If you have to wash the dishes or do any cleaning, wear gloves.

Wash your hands – Don’t forget to keep your hands clean, and remove dirt and bacteria that could be in your nails. Wash your hands with soap to keep bacteria away.

Plan ahead – When it comes to home manicures it’s good to gather the supplies you will need beforehand. If you need files and drills, get new ones for this.

Do not bite or pick your nails – I know a lot of women are guilty of biting nails at one point myself included. Picking or biting your nails can cause damage to your cuticles.
