Step One:File it Away

Start out with a coarse nail file and gentle file down the gel nails. Gentle sand down the top layer of gel. Be careful not to sand down your nail polish, remove the layer of the sheen only.

Use kitchen foil ( Reynolds Wrap ) tear them into 10 squares that will fit on your fingers. You now take your soaked acetone cotton ball and wrap up your nails to hold it in place. If you have someone to help you that is a plus. Wrap all ten fingers and keep it on for 15 to 20 minutes.

Once all that is over take off the balls and foil, the polish should come off easily or with a little help from using a cuticle pusher. If its not coming off easy try soaking them some more.
